Tuesday, June 10th, June 24th, July 8th, July 22nd and August 5th
1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

The arts, culture, and heritage sector has entered a new period of funding scarcity and it is more important than ever that grant seekers not only learn the fundamentals of grant writing theory but also think about how to employ storytelling techniques that can make their applications stand out in an increasingly competitive funding landscape.

In this five-part online workshop series, you will:

  • Learn how to focus your message

  • Gain insight into key provincial, federal, and private foundation grants

  • Speak with funders about what makes a grant stand out

  • Practice telling your story

  • Explore whether or not AI tools can help or hurt your grant applications

  • Start developing an annual grant calendar for your organization

  • Get an early preview of the BCMA’s new revenue development resource, launching in the summer of 2025

This is a 5-part workshop and will be held over Zoom.

Workshop fee: $150.00 for BCMA Members, $250 for non-members.
