Vice President, Experience and Products

Based in Vancouver, BC, Science World is a mission-based, charitable organization that supports the
development of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and design, and math). Visitors to the
iconic geodesic dome explore interactive, hands-on exhibits, galleries and feature exhibitions that
nurture the process of discovery and inspire the connection with natural, physical, and built
environments. Science World also hosts events, workshops, and demonstrations throughout the year,
catering to visitors of all ages. STEAM Programs are held onsite, online and across the province.

The five-year strategy seeks to revitalize the organization with a substantial fundraising plan to
revitalize critical infrastructure, transform the visitor experience, and develop unique STEAM
experiences across all channels under the themes of Regeneration of the Planet, Human Health,
and Inclusion.

Science World is seeking a Vice President, Experience and Products who will provide overall direction
and leadership in exhibits, programs, and content. The Vice President will be responsible for
enhancing the visitor experience, developing captivating, inclusive exhibits, STEAM programs, and
content in keeping with Science World’s mission to ignite wonder and empower dreams through
Science and Nature. As Science World looks to the future, the Vice President will play a pivotal role
in shaping the overall impression and satisfaction of visitors and participants onsite and off,
guaranteeing that every interaction is seamless and enjoyable.

As part of the Senior Leadership Team, the Vice President will work closely with colleagues to
implement and manage the strategic direction of Science World and ensure an integrated approach to
achieving objectives. The Vice President will provide leadership to a broad team, which encompasses
Exhibits, Workshop, Experiential Learning (programs) and Visitor Experience.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability in creating unique and inspiring experiences,
content, and programs to drive visitors, membership, revenue, and further develop the brand of
Science World as a place of wonder and curiosity. You are someone that can focus product and
content development on experiences that compel members and visitors to revisit Science World. Your
natural leadership ability sets you apart as someone who motivates, mentors, and guides team
members towards a shared vision of success.
