Understanding identities and intersectional experiences is core to creating inclusive, safe, and transformative organizations. Join néhiyaw community connector and cultural consultant Miranda Jimmy for an interactive introduction to DEI in the workplace. Together, we'll create shared language and common understanding of basic diversity, equity, and inclusion concepts, learn about our own intersectionality, and build our capacity to advocate for workplace transformation. This engaging learning opportunity will be sure to spark curiosity and conversation.

In this workshop you will:

  • Leave with a baseline knowledge of DEI work, tools to apply these concepts, and resources for further learning.

  • Come together with your peers to create shared language and common understandings of key DEI concepts.

  • Build your capacity to advocate for transformation.

The registration fee is just for the workshop at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, including tea & coffee. Please plan for a light lunch in advance or pack a snack.

Register before October 21, 2022 to reserve your spot -  book soon because registration is capped at 30 people!
